1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how MediFakt ("MediFakt", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the FaktUp application and related services (the "Platform"). We may update this Policy as our features evolve; material changes will be communicated to you in advance, and, where a change involves a new category of data, we will seek your consent before that change takes effect.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

• Name and email address provided at registration.
• Login credentials, stored using industry-standard encryption.

2.2 App Activity Data

• Gameplay data: which games are played, scores, completion times, and difficulty tiers.
• FaktPoints balances, streaks, tier status, and in-app achievements.
• Referral and community-challenge participation, where applicable.

2.3 Device and Technical Data

• Operating system and version and app version, used solely to maintain and improve app performance and stability.

2.4 Wallet Address (Where Applicable)

If the Platform allows you to connect a public wallet address to track or claim any in-app reward, that connection is entirely optional. We only ever collect the public wallet address — never private keys or seed phrases, which we will never ask for under any circumstance.

2.5 Device Identifier

We generate a unique device identifier to recognise your device for fraud prevention and session management. This ID is generated locally on your device and stored securely. It is not used for tracking or analytics purposes and survives only on your device or until you uninstall the app. It is not shared with any 3rd parties for advertising and is not linked to your activity across other companies' apps or website.

3. How We Use Information

• To operate the Platform, including calculating FaktPoints and maintaining accounts.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and manipulation of the points system, through the device identifier.
• To analyse aggregated, anonymised usage trends so we can improve the app and our games.
• To communicate with you about your account, security, or material changes to our services.
• For research purposes only where you have given explicit, opt-in consent — you decide what, if anything, is shared, with whom, and for how long.

4. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell personal data to third parties.
• We do not share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not condition access to the core app experience on sharing any optional data.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Platform (for example, cloud hosting or analytics providers), each bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of MediFakt or our users, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy continuing to apply to your information.

6. Your Rights

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — update your account information directly in the app, or contact us for assistance.
• Deletion — delete your account and associated personal data from the app settings, or by contacting us.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to data portability or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We will honour applicable rights regardless of where you are located.

7. Data Security and Retention

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest and hosted on an infrastructure maintaining independently audited security certifications. We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform's games and general features are intended for users aged 16 and above (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher). Wallet connection and SOLEFAKT related features are intended only for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. International Data Transfers

Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection through appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.

We may update this Policy from time to time as our Platform evolves. Material changes — particularly any change that introduces a new category of data collection — will be communicated to you in advance, and, where legally required, we will obtain your consent before the change takes effect.
